Inspiration

It's 2024 which means its Election Year! We saw how there were multiple news outlets spreading false news during the election year in 2020. We wanted to create something accessible, user-friendly that directs someone in the right direction.

What it does

When a fact is entered into the chat Window, it can tell you if it's True or False and cite the right sources and cut off the jargon!

How we built it

We used You.com and OpenAI API's to create a better way to verify claims using source generation and quality assurance.

Challenges we ran into

Getting the API access to work and connecting our backend to the frontend. Large csv file problem.

A global graph RAG/search feature for claims to be verified and cached. Human-reinforcement learning to determine claims.
