Inspiration

The idea for Grotivas was born out of a personal struggle. I often felt lost when it came to putting myself out there unsure of what to post, how to stay consistent, and whether my efforts were making an impact. Social media can feel like shouting into a void, with no clear feedback or guidance.

I realized there was no tool that could honestly tell me: “This approach isn’t working, here’s a better one.” That gap lit the spark for Grotivas a growth universe designed to help creators and founders transform insight into real impact.

What it does

Grotivas is AI-powered, a growth platform that helps founders and creators: Analyze how their content is performing across platforms.

Get clear, actionable insights on what works and what doesn’t. Craft high-impact posts, threads, and strategies tailored for growth. Move beyond vanity metrics to focus on meaningful engagement. It’s more than analytics it’s a partner in turning effort into measurable success.

How we built it

We designed the user flow and dashboards collaboratively, making sure the experience was simple yet powerful. The frontend was built with Next.js 15 and TypeScript for scalability, ensuring maintainability and future-proof flexibility. SWR was integrated for real-time data fetching with refresh intervals to keep analytics up-to-date. Authentication was handled with NextAuth.js to make secure, personalized dashboards possible. We prototyped mock tweet analysis and later connected APIs to pull real data for performance insights.

Challenges we ran into

Overwhelm at the start: Mapping user flows and designs felt like climbing a mountain at first.

Financial constraints: Internet costs and premium tools like X API Pro were out of reach, slowing development.

Data limitations: Without premium access, pulling meaningful analytics took creative workarounds.

Balancing time & energy: Building consistently while juggling other responsibilities tested my dedication.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Built a fully functional, responsive dashboard in a very limited timeframe.

Created an intuitive flow where users can see insights and craft impactful content in one place.

Worked as a small, motivated team of friends who believed in the vision.
