Inspiration
Creating a grocery list can be a daunting, overwhelming task. You find yourself wondering, "What do I need again?" or "Where was that recipe for tonight's dinner?" Keeping track of ingredients for your kids' lunches or remembering what you already have at home can quickly turn into a chaotic juggling act. And then there's the classic conundrum: "Did dad pick up the milk, or are we doomed to dry cereal again?" It all becomes an overwhelming mess, making grocery shopping more stressful than it needs to be.
⚔️ Making grocery lists better is a two front war.
1️⃣ Adding Items
On one hand, it's challenging to add grocery items when they're coming from many different places. Ex: Your spouse, that cool recipe you found one time, remembering what your kids want for lunch everyday, or simply wanting suggestions for eating healthier.
2️⃣ Managing Items
On the other hand, managing groceries is a mess that requires a PhD in Logistics spanning across 5 different stores, special reminders, making sure everyone agrees what's on the list, sorting into the right aisle - I could go on.

Meet The Devs
Hi! I'm Jacob, I'm 21 years old and fresh out of college! I'm from Missouri (Go Chiefs) but I just recently moved to Colorado.
I'm incredibly inspired by the craftsmanship, time, and passion of indie apps. Someday want to be a full-time indie app developer. I hope participating in this competition gets me closer to that goal!
What's next for GroceryBot
Keep grinding on promoting, fixing bugs, and adding features. I eventually want to add meal planning, checking how busy grocery stores are, price reporting, widgets, and deeper AI assistant integrations
