Find a grocery buddy through a Tinder-style match making app, to save money and energy by carpooling or taking the bus together and splitting bulk items. Organize grocery trips and make new friends!

We are interested in food security and forming community in college towns and in general! We were inspired by apps like Tinder to make an easy way to find a grocery buddy.

You fill out your information, including your ideal grocery basket, dietary restrictions, and what ways your willing to transport. Then, the app will suggest potential matches. Read their bio and tap right if they would be a good grocery buddy, and tap left to reject!

We used Flutterflow and Firebase

It was difficult to build an app from scratch as beginner coders, and Flutterflow has limited community support, so when we ran into an error, we couldn't find a solution online. However, we were able to debug with the help of mentors at SB Hacks.

We are proud of building the UI/UX and connecting a frontend to a backend all in 24 hours!

We learned a ton about the entire process of making an app and how to work with databases through Firebase.
