Grizzly Trade

I chose to build Grizzly-Trade as a platform tailored specifically for the Oakland University community to address the need for a secure, local marketplace for students and faculty. As a member of the university, I’ve observed the challenges of buying and selling items through generic online platforms, which can sometimes be impersonal and untrustworthy. By creating a marketplace exclusively for the Oakland University community, I wanted to provide a safer and more convenient space where students and faculty could easily trade items such as textbooks, electronics, furniture, and other everyday goods. This project not only aligns with my interest in full-stack development but also aims to foster a sense of community and collaboration on campus, supporting sustainability by encouraging the reuse of resources.
