Inspiration
Most productivity apps expect you to figure out the goals, and then leave you to it. They’re rigid, static, and don’t adapt as you grow. But that’s not how real progress works. We dream big. We aim high. But we often forget that every mountain is climbed one step at a time, and it’s the first step that matters most. That’s why I built Grindset.club, a system that doesn’t just ask what you want to achieve, but helps you get there the agentic way, adapting to your pace, your effort, and your journey.
What it does
This is why I built grindset.club.
You type in any goal of yours, and the AI agent will break the goal down for you into the smallest bit.
This is based on what you can already do and your expected timeframe to accomplish this goal.
The agent will give you one task at a time, ask for your progress and feedback.
On the basis of this, it will give you the next task, which will be slightly more challenging than the one before—helping you progress in the right way and right direction.
It also has a chat feature that can help you get debriefed on your tasks and also search the web for you with the help of Tavily.
How I built it
I built grindset.club using:
- Next.js for the frontend
- MongoDB for the database
- Clerk for authentication
- Gemini for generating responses and creating tasks
Challenges we ran into
Shifting from localhost to production
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I'm so glad to have built this tool, because I really needed something like this, and I hope to help others too with this.
What we learned
I learned a lot about how to build agents and how to integrate them with web apps to build useful tools.
What's next for grindset.club
Planning to refine and add more features—maybe mobile support too :)
