Inspiration

my inspiration came about cars, I love the way cars move so quickly and how it works but the biggest hassle is maintaining one the expense and labor it goes to taking care of a car takes a lot of attention but most importantly equipment.

What it does

what this does is it take a Bluetooth OBD scanner that are used for cars, and takes all the codes and given to an AI so that it can help you navigate and understand whats is wrong with your vehicle in a user friendly way.

How we built it

Created using python and Claude to make this happen

Challenges we ran into

the AI bot was definitely a challenge, made it hard to try and function and be able to explain to you the codes.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

GUI is something i'm proud of, makes it very easy, tap to interact and maneuver

What we learned

what I learned was the about of backend it takes for the AI bot to properly function.

What's next for GridScanner

improve its response maybe have a feature were you can set the AI where it explains to you as if you're a newbie or an expert. also looking forward to making the GUI better and more sporty/race car look for better aesthetic.
