Greenify Mart

Inspiration

The idea for GreenifyMart was born during a grocery trip to Whole Foods. Surrounded by countless “eco” and “organic” labels, we realized how hard it actually is to tell which products are truly sustainable. We thought what if AI could help make every shopping decision transparent and environmentally responsible? That moment sparked the creation of GreenifyMart — your friendly AI-powered supermarket buddy that makes sustainable shopping simple and rewarding.

What it does

GreenifyMart is an AI-powered supermarket shopping app that helps users make more sustainable lifestyle choices while shopping for daily products. It uses artificial intelligence to analyze product data, materials, and supply chain information to rank items by their environmental impact. The app recommends greener alternatives, visualizes users’ personal eco footprints, and tracks their progress over time, making sustainable living measurable, visible, and motivating.

How we built it

We designed GreenifyMart using Figma for UI/UX prototyping and Manus.AI for research, data analysis, and creative ideation. Manus.AI helped us gather real-world data about product sustainability and consumer behavior, while we visualized every feature and interaction in Figma to bring the experience to life.

Challenges we ran into

Our biggest challenge was time pressure, balancing research, prototyping, and design in a short time frame. However, Manus.AI turned out to be a powerful co-creator, helping us quickly synthesize insights and refine our ideas efficiently.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud of everything we created!!! WE TRIED OUR BEST, especially because every part of GreenifyMart was handmade in Figma. From the concept to the prototype, our team built everything from scratch, combining creativity, research from Manus AI, and combine design thinking with AI. Each member contributed their unique strengths, and together we turned a simple idea into a cohesive, meaningful, and sustainable experience.

What we learned

Through this project, we further understood that sustainability is not just about offering eco-friendly products , it’s about helping people understand their impact and feel motivated to make a change. We explored how AI can translate complex environmental data into clear, actionable shopping guidance, turning the desire to “live sustainably” into the ability to do so. Using Manus.AI not only helps users make more responsible choices but also helps designers think about sustainability in a more intelligent and systematic way. The journey of our project “GreenifyMart” became a dual exploration, where we strive to achieve sustainable living, and of sustainable design thinking.

What's next for Greenify Mart

Next, we plan to develop a functional prototype by integrating coding and APIs to make GreenifyMart a REAL, working app. Our goal is to expand the database, connect live product information, and allow users to experience AI-driven sustainable shopping in action.
