Inspiration
Issues of waste accumulation incur major costs to the Saudi government. leading countries in the world save vast amounts of money from utilizing the waste material. we believe the hajj season can contribute to a great financial benefit to the Kingdom
What it does
Users get rewarded for correctly placing waste categories in the right locations to be further processed and sold as a raw material
How we built it
Using MVC architecture and Google API's.
Challenges we ran into
Having all team members fully understand the vision at a deep level took a lot of time, which caused inefficiency while working together at the hackathon.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The idea was created a day prior to the event and two out of five team members were complete strangers from different backgrounds and skill sets.
What we learned
We learned that working in teams can be difficult sometimes and requires patience to ensure all team members are on board and are working correctly.
What's next for Greeway (GWY)
We are planning to make a complete marketplace platform and launch as a Cryptocurrency project, Connecting the Individuals with merchandise, Processing facility, ATM Machines.
