A lot of paper goes into generating greeting cards. Our project focuses on generating e-greeting cards by reducing the usage of paper which in turn reduces the amount of tree being cut down every year to generate paper. This way by reducing paper waste we can start saving environment.

Our project creates e-greeting cards based on the photo and input text uploaded by user

We first took input text from the user regarding occasion, name and relation of the person to whom greeting card needs to be generated. Later we got keywords and object from the image using google cloud vision api. Once we get keywords from the image, the keywords are matched with the greetings that were scrapped from different websites and finally a custom greeting message will be generated.

We plan to make some changes to this project by adding photo to the final greeting. Later we can start sending greetings via emails directly. We can also start adding gift options along with the greetings and built a complete website.
