Inspiration
As we can see contiguous drop in the wildlife species. It's time we start spreading awareness about it
What it does
It shows the blogs related to wildlife extinction and conservation. Adding on, it provides a column where people can donate funds which helps the organization serve better in nurturing the endangered species.
How we built it
We used HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Cockroach DB and tried create a dynamic web application.
Challenges we ran into
- Firstly we thought of adding a google map API but we could not figure out how to integrate it
- We created database using CockroachDB but the logic of connecting it to the frontend seemed hard.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- We created a dynamic website using frontend technologies in a such a short period of time by coordinating and collaborating.
- We could bring out the skills we learnt within few days
What we learnt
We learnt a lot about Fronted Technologies like HTML, CSS JavaScript and BootStrap by creating an interactive and useful website concerning WildLife.
What's next for GreenWildLife
- We are looking forward to add the google maps API displaying various national parks and tropical forests from where extinction of animals can be predicted in terms of percentage.
- We also want to create a portal for animal adoption or petition to reduce hunting of animals.
