Inspiration

First time in university there was a musical event called "Chakithaya" and when doing that organizing committee expect something new should be there. So, at that moment I got this idea of "GreenPass"

What it does

Simply, it's online ticketing system that can use for issue the tickets

How we built it

I used Java SPRINGBOOT framework for the backend and REACT + VITE with tailwind for the frontend. MYSQL get as the database and AWS EC2 instances use for run this and RDS for server database.

Challenges we ran into

Getting unique QR code for validate and when validate make that process much more efficiency was challenge that got. Also, making mobile responsive UI was another one.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

How ever I used UUID for making QR codes and used expo for the mobile app that can use for the validating. Also as plan B(if some device can't use app), then they can validate the users by system also.

What we learned

I learned fundamentals of AWS from this and about UUID and how SMTP works(with gmail account only 100 mails can send per day)

What's next for GreenPass

As future update, I like to move this as product. That mean anyone can come to a web and customize their requirements(like event name, mail sending email, date and time and venue editing option, etc)
