GreenLeaf - Environmental Awareness and Flappy Bird Game

Inspiration

We decided that the Earth's Environment is an important topic to raise awareness about. It is a process we have to work together as humans and help mitigate the downsides. So we decided to put out Computer Programming skills to the test by creating a website to raise awareness about it.

What it does

This is a website that talks about Climate Change, problems and solutions and what the future of the earth and us will be if we don't take action. There is also a flappy bird game that anyone with a GCPS account can play. This game resembles the end of the wold due to Climate Change.

How we built it

We built our program by coding the website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and coded the game using CSharp in unity.

Challenges we ran into

Some challenges we ran into included the time crunch and did not know how to code some aspects of both the website and the game.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of applying our CS skills in creating an interactive website as well as a short game.

What we learned

We learned that managing time is very important, and that sometimes cuts have to be made to reach a deadline. We have also learned the importance of having a solid plan, as well as if we had a better plan, then we would be able to finish it a lot faster and earlier.
