🌟 Inspiration

We were inspired by the urgent need to make climate action more accessible and engaging. Despite growing awareness about environmental issues, most people struggle to take meaningful action due to a lack of tools, motivation, or trust. We asked: What if sustainability could be as fun and rewarding as a game? That question gave birth to Greenify—a platform that merges technology, gamification, and purpose to make green living second nature.

🌱 What it does

Greenify is a mobile app that enables users to:

Track their carbon footprint in real time

Receive AI-powered tips to reduce impact

Complete gamified challenges and earn rewards

Offset emissions transparently via blockchain-backed carbon projects

Join a community of eco-conscious individuals and organizations It also includes a corporate dashboard to support businesses in their ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) efforts.

🛠️ How we built it

Frontend: React Native for a smooth cross-platform mobile experience

AI Engine: Python-based models to estimate emissions based on user input and behavior

Gamification Module: Designed with custom logic for points, badges, and progress tracking

Blockchain Layer: Integrated smart contracts for verified, transparent carbon offsetting

Backend: Node.js and Firebase/Supabase for real-time database operations and authentication
