GreenCharge from the makers of PlugShare

GreenCharge allows users to see the State of Charge (SOC) of their plugin hybrid or electric vehicle, right from their smart phone. They can see how much carbon they have offset and how much energy they have used. In addition GreenCharge keeps track of how their battery usage compare to others with a similar car and rates how well they are treating their battery. GreenCharge also can be used to let a user broadcast their SOC to the public via PlugShare. PlugShare is the largest database and most used app for finding electric charging stations. Users can message other users to find charging stations and to ask to unplug one another to best utilize available infrastructure. We use open data from the DOE, the networked EVSE providers and our crowd of users. Greencharge also lets people turn on the ability to participate in demand response programs that their utility may have in place.
