Inspiration

Our passion for the environment and desire to build a healthy community drove us to create this project.

What it does

GreenBasket will enable users to detect spoiled food, which will have an impact on how those with limited food knowledge consume it. We'll track downloads, ratings, and reviews to measure the effectiveness of our app.

How we built it

We were able to bring our idea to life through effective teamwork, great time management, as well as the help of modern design tools such as Miro, Figma, and Adobe Photoshop.

Challenges we ran into

One major challenge we ran into during the development of this project was the lack of a clear definition of our roles, as we all worked on most aspects of the project. Another challenge we ran into was the lack of clear agreement on certain app features which slowed down our progress.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Even though our app hasn't fully showcased our capabilities, we are proud of what we were able to ideate and build in such a short time. We're also proud of ourselves for not allowing our differences to derail our project, as we were effectively able to regroup ourselves and finish the project.

What we learned

We will never forget the invaluable lessons we learned through this project. We've undoubtedly strengthened our skills in teamwork, time management, multitasking, and the overall process of UI/UX design. Lastly, we will be eternally grateful for the experience we were able to gain.

What's next for GreenBasket

For the future of GreenBasket, we'll continue to improve and iterate the current version. We have one goal; to leave the world a better place than we found it.
