Inspiration: Currently it's winter in my area , 5 years back temperatures were actually cold and it 30 degrees in this winter , also my area is cyclone prone area previously it was seasonal but now it is happening any now and then , but our govt is just talking but making under the table deals with big climate criminals and helping them growing their business. so I thought to start at least something to impact some bits of the mammoth issue
What it does: It help users to get news about climate change in their local area or they may choose and other location, it also have a chat integration where you can create channels for example your local area and plan on what to do for example there is a small pond in our area but it was dry and filled with trash it was some 10-20 m from my house , so we took help of a nearby contractor having an excavator he actually works for construction in here but helped us in free time, and now the pond is filled with lots of lotus
How we built it: I am building it using mern stack first I made the UI and the socket chat area then I will integrate it with a backend and API calls back-and forth from news api to collect and show news using react
Challenges we ran into: I am currently learning the tech stack while making this , I took it as a challenge to learn the tech stack in depth , so every other day some big error or API integration problem is very common which I take as a challenge and solve it
Accomplishments that we're proud of: I have come across a long way if I see my 3 month back self , I always wanted to do development but due less know how I couldn't now I am doing it and living it and learning something new everyday

I want to take it big because the idea is very community centric so it will create a big impact and I want to make it used by people like they use social media on daily basis
