Inspiration

Our planets and oceans are slowly dying as more plastic waste gets dumped into landfills. By buying these toxic products, we are slowly killing our only home.

What it does

Green over Gasoline will be and desktop and mobile app that is easily accessible at home or whether you are in the store. All you have to do is search for what products you want, whether it is conditioner or t-shirts, and find what is best for you all while staying eco-friendly. You can also search for specific products to find out whether it is toxic or not. And at home, you can learn about the effects of plastic and inform others.

Challenges I ran into

I had trouble learning how to make the animations and the search engine because it was my first time making one

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I am very proud of getting the search engine to work the way I wanted it to

What I learned

I learned a lot about Java script because I rarely use it

What's next for Green Over Gasoline

I will probably connect it to large store chains and their inventory, so the shopper can specifically search for just that store's inventory
