Green in Check was born from a moment of frustration. While reading Coca-Cola’s claims about recyclable bottles, we found a Greenpeace report naming them the world’s top plastic polluter. The contradiction was clear—and common. From Shell’s phantom carbon offsets to H&M’s misleading “Conscious Collection,” we saw how greenwashing erodes trust in ESG.

We built Green in Check to fix that. In just 12 hours, we created an AI-powered tool that flags misleading sustainability claims, verifies data, and empowers ESG stakeholders with the truth. Along the way, we learned how hard it is to cut through corporate spin—and how essential it is to make that truth accessible, fast, and actionable.
