Inspiration

We were inspired by different apps that encourage good habits by rewarding the user for accomplishing everyday tasks. We took this approach and changed it from self servicing, to a program that serves the Earth!

What it does

The user starts our by taking a short survey, the app then assigns them a score and displays a simulated snapshot of Earth 100 years from now. As the user continues to complete the daily tasks assigned, they get to see the impact their decisions make!

How we built it

We used Claude to create a framework for the web app and our developers (Chevelle, Mirza and Hunter) did much of the heavy lifting there. The screenshot into the future was created by our artist Ian. The business plans were devloped by Dewayne and Donald.

Challenges we ran into

We face many challenges, mostly self imposed. We found ourselves to be a very amibitious group! Our biggest struggles came from implimenting images made by our artist into our website in a way that was clean and made sense.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

That we pulled this off! All of Ian's art is amazing, we're all computer science majors with little to no experience in business models, and through sheer will we got the program up and running.

What we learned

Rome wasn't built in a day, and we can't expect all of our dreams to be so easily accomplished (even in the days of AI). We also learned how to work together and collaborate. Many of us were so used to doing our own thing, but as we got into a groove (a green groove), things started flowing!
