Inspiration
With the emerging market of Electric vehicles, Regulating the grid is also very necessary. So my problem statement is to predict grid regulation using AI.
What it does
Using AI and the existing data available we will try to predict when and where there may be a surge in demand in the EV charging network, in turn, increases the load on the power grid. This early prediction will help us to pre-inform the authorities of the usage patterns and demands of the users and help reduce the stress produced by immediate demand on the power grid.
How we built it
With the help of restful APIs and Machine learning Algorithms and existing data, we will try to predict the load on the grid. Not only this we will also show nearby charging stations to the user.
Challenges we ran into
Due to a lack of correct data, we were not able to do the prediction but after researching a lot, we finally found data on load on the grid and nearby charging station data.

After making this project, I was able to show nearby charging stations and predict grid regulation
What we learned
After doing this project I was finally able to make restful APIs and Machine learning Algorithms to predict the load on the grid in the form of low, Normal, and High.
What's next for Green Grid
In the future plan, I want my map to show the traffic at a particular charging station.
