Growing up, communities were naturally connected and engaged with their environment. Today, that sense of connection has weakened due to the influence of digitalization . So that we created GreenGo to bring back community engagement and make environmental action local, visible, and achievable.

GreenGo is a platform that helps communities understand and improve their local environment.

  • Uses satellite data to analyze vegetation health (NDMI)
  • Allows users to upload images of plants and animals
  • Uses AI to identify and label biodiversity
  • Builds a shared, real-time view of a community’s ecosystem

  • Frontend: React + Vite for a fast and modern UI
  • Backend: Django with REST APIs
  • Cloud: AWS for storage and processing
  • AI: Computer vision models for plant recognition
  • Geospatial: Google Earth Engine for satellite data and NDMI analysis
  • Maps: Google Maps / Leaflet for visualization
