About the video

The actual video is a pitch on the submission for the SAAI Factory where it describes the use of art/artwork/art forms/allied innovation and AI/ML to protect and save life of occupants at sites. The playback needs a high volume setting due to some technical glitches faced in recording/uploading. The video has been submitted as part of the zip file to help reduce the extent of this problem for the evaluating panel but it has also been included separately in the landing page for the submission (with instructions to use headphones or bluetooth speakers on the basis of the device or computer being used to view the landing page).

Inspiration

Today, India like other countries is affected by many natural disasters like floods, earthquakes, failures in ecosystems etc. Solution finding for Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation (CCMA) is a vital insight.

There are successful programmes that help conservation.

The question that we would like to raise here is that, do we autonomously deliver life support, to help people help themselves when the country, its states or nearest neighbouring countries are affected by a natural disaster.

As problem solving for this we propose to design Green Globe Responsiveness in Internet interfaced sites, to use an Operating Climate Centre and Machine Learning that uses codification and insight to prepare for risk mitigation and disaster management at the times of disasters like "floods, earthquakes, fires, etc”

The site categories of importance being

  1. Educational institutions
  2. Business sites
  3. Public/Community Welfare Services sites
  4. Residential sites

Insight

Drawing to Life (Pronation): The need today for Quality of life, steps beyond the concept of quality, as envisioned by the pioneer Deming. The need of the hour is to add man-making qualities to sites and their life cycles.

Man-making qualities refer to qualities such as leadership, passion, interest and empathy to conserve resources, or to preserve ecosystems, or to mitigate climate change and thus safeguard Mother Earth for the future generations.

From a scientific point of view: Herein, the insight of consciousness for pronation (or preservation / emergence) acts to fundamentally connect people to a sense of self-theory (or inspiration) to better our quest to make our environment greener and safer.

The Endeavours for Society propose to accommodate different shades of responsiveness: For Quality of life, people in business or society respond / act on the basis of a hierarchy of needs

a. Physiological needs – need for food, clothing, shelter etc

b. Security and social needs – need to earn for sustenance, and need for reassurance that there is no fear of loss of job, property and shelter

c. Social affiliation or acceptance needs – a need to belong, a need to be accepted by others

d. Self-esteem needs – need for power, prestige, status, self-confidence

e. Self-actualization needs – need to maximize one’s potential, self-expression

f. Healing quadrant needs – need to understand, address and reduce enervating aspects or stress levels

The need today is to add new Green Globe responsiveness to the previous hierarchy, to make businesses and facilities socially responsible and to help make sites more full-fledged, more reflective and more in sync with the need to mitigate risks and threats via Green Globe responsiveness and Connected Emergency Response.

What it does

We propose the augmenting of regular art, styles or features for a newer CERC-art which helps Emergency Response at a building, facility or site by relating to Visual, Auditory or Tactile senses via an Ability specific LifeScore Accentuated Risk mitigator.

Today amidst the various features of art/artwork/allied innovations, the newer CERC-art will need to relate to Service Level Agreements (SLA(s)), Operations Level Agreements (OLA(s)), Underpinning Contracts (UC(s) ) and LifeScores, which it expects to associate via an Ability specific LifeScore Accentuated Risk mitigator (or ALARM) .

The Risk mitigator identifies the problem solving or resultant SMART Interaction / Intervention possible through the artwork / art form / allied innovation.

The SMART interaction / intervention will require the architect/designer/innovator to accentuate the entity, product (or innovation) so it can help emergency response via Specific SLA(s), Measurable Abilities for Visual/Auditory/Tactile senses, Achievable OLA(s), Relevant UC(s) and Timely status/warnings/alarms.

A new CERC Social Accountability standard will help design-bid-build, design-build or construct buildings, facilities or sites with sense and respond solutions for CCMA influencers and Connected Emergency Response.

The draft for the CERC is being completed.

We review a CERC- labeling scheme for this newer CERC-art which helps Emergency Response at a building, facility or site by relating to Visual, Auditory or Tactile senses via an Ability specific LifeScore Accentuated Risk mitigator (in short abbreviated as ALARM).

The CERC-labeling scheme will be designed, developed and improved by a CERC-labeling network that can seek advice, consult with stakeholders or even use site specific surveys/feedback/machine learning to recognize the requirements being experienced during emergency response or evacuation at sites.

The CERC-labeling scheme will be criteria based such as whether the CERC-art/artwork/art form/allied innovation is a Visual ALARM, or an Auditory ALARM, or a Tactile ALARM and Specific awareness & response based ALARM.

The CERC-labeling scheme will also identify the scope of problem solving that is whether the label is for an Independent problem solving, or National level problem solving, or International level problem solving or even Multi-national level problem solving.

The CERC- labeling scheme for this newer CERC-art will also associate a CERC-logo that signifies the product/art/art form/artwork/allied innovation is for Connected Emergency Response.

The CERC-logo will be a Green Globe responsive hourglass

We know of Art helping 360 degree reality, Virtual reality, Extended reality and Augmented reality, but via this proposal we expect to use Art and AI/ML to add Green Globe responsiveness.

The hourglass shows procreation and extent of threat mitigation for Climate Change and its related impact on emergency response in this case.

From the SAAI Factory perspective, the CERC-logo identifies a product for a site’s Biocentrism for Sense and Respond experiences to save & protect life at the time of a threat, disaster or accelerated risk.

The new Sense and Respond experience will add Real time, Interactive, Process oriented, Performance and Environment “Green Globe intelligence, learning and acknowledgment” to a site.

The product serves as an interlink of profiles, showcases & critical thinking for problem solving, reasoning and evaluating of a site’s vulnerability in disasters.

: The new (being proposed) Social Accountability standard for CERC-art will help evaluate or recommend the use of CERC-art in a site and thereon associate this label to the site, where the label will be valid for a period decided by the site’s vulnerability and thereon roll forward with periodic evaluation or relevant review.

The CERC-art will also have a specialized cradle to grave lifecycle as it will need to implement / relate to Service Level Agreements (SLA(s)), Operations Level Agreements (OLA(s)), Underpinning Contracts (UC(s)) and LifeScores, which it expects to associate via an Ability specific LifeScore Accentuated Risk mitigator (or ALARM)

The CERC-art label will also identify any Acts/Laws that it adheres to, its qualified product information such as Main objectives, Goals, Associated CERC Report, Use types, CER Causes, Effects & Control measures, 5 step CPM Action Plan, Score as to how best it helps in emergency response. For the decision makers or stakeholders for art and allied innovation, the label will also include qualified SAAI information such as type of art/allied innovation, characteristic features, structure, function etc

Scope or potential problem solving for Copyright , Intellectual property or secure art/art forms: The CERC-art will also have a specialized CERC-art gallery where art / art forms / designs / allied innovations that are for Connected Emergency Response will be showcased.

As the CERC problem solving does expect that the designer/artist/ innovator may vary, that is, the designer/artist/ innovator responding by using AI/ML to make the art / art form/ allied innovation more connected to the site, occupancy or community may not be the creator / conceptual driver, or may not have contacts with the creator / conceptual driver, the CERC showcase will permit the CERC community to edition the art / art forms being versioned/ improved/ customized via Machine learning and Training.

The different versions for the art / art form will be viewable from the gallery giving scope for interrelated insights and secure art.

The gallery and its versioning can be simple or advanced based on qualified SAAI information discussed in this solution finding.

The need to translate text that may be independently included or embedded in the art/ art form will need to be dealt with, either by a CERC team of translators or CERC auto-translator insights.

Scope or potential problem solving in translating text in art/art forms: The need to translate text by a CERC team of translators is a potential solution but may need dedicated manpower allotment for this. Today this seems most easy.

The innovative way is to publish the need to develop a CERC auto-translator that requires the art / art form / design / allied innovation having text to be first digitized or scanned. The open source community may be ready to help.

The digitized or scanned image could be opened in the new auto-translator tool like the snipping tool, where the portion that includes text is selected and then on the creator/designer/innovator deciding on the nature of translation via certain translation-codes like (a) convert from 1 language to another with no parameterization, (b) convert from 1 language to another with design guidelines and (c) convert from 1 language to another with integration modeling to help retain the concise form of the original artwork via (b) and (c).

The tool could rely on a notes section, where the text to be translated is entered and thereon interpreted & translated, where the output from this section is again put back into the work in progress portion from the artwork.

The work in progress portion could then integrate the translation as per the translation codes. This translated text portion could then be inserted into the digitized or scanned image which is then saved for further use / connected versioning.

How we built it

Wix platform, Future Generic Art for Connected Emergency Response

Challenges we ran into

We are not talking about implementing networks that are accessible, available, controllable, or reliable but we are talking about a next step. The point being, can we design support into our networks, so the new life cycle provides for different life support services.

We use this hackathon to relate to this problem solving.

We use Art and AI/ML to design and develop SMART Intervention / Interaction to identify, prepare for and mitigate risk to the life of occupants during the time of a disaster or emergency.

We develop a roadmap to satisfy common needs like:

Need 1: Need for businesses and service providers to use a site and/or facility

Need 2: Requirement for people and customers to live in or use a site and/or facility

Need 3: Special cases based requirements where if a person has some handicap, then a LifeScore study system acknowledges this in the site and/or facility planning & management

Need 4: Scheduling based requirements where if a person is interested in any forward scheduling or reservation of a site and/or facilities, then the study system helps address the same via facility planning & management

Need 5: Vulnerability in the health of occupants, emerging incidences, day to day incidences, or codified incidence based Incidence Management requirements

Need 6: Innovate / Procreate for Green Globe sustainability

For all such needs, this roadmap will help a site broadly define an Analysis plan, Action plan, and Implementation plan for how the site and/or its facilities incorporate “Green Globe codification & Autonomic Periphery building” and also a continual self-cycle for responsiveness. Autonomic Periphery building deals with adding Sense and Respond intelligence, learning and acknowledgment to a site.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proposing a futuristic dimension for the problem in Disaster Management/Response

The futuristic dimension proposed for each of these sites being

Educational institutions (Operating Climate Centre, Green Globe Profile and Future Value Virtual Museums, where the virtual museum showcases innovation at work be it in the field of science, or mathematics, or technology or future focus, where the showcase fundamentally connects people to a site-theory (or inspiration) to better our quest for green globe responsiveness) The proof of concept URL called the Vital Monitor provides more details.

Business sites (Operating Climate Centre, Green Globe Profile and Unified Enterprise Showcase, where the showcase details the organizational Focus / Continual Readiness for all or specific areas such as

  • Disaster Management Program and Emergency Response Plan The proof of concept URL called the FastBiz provides more details.

Public Welfare Services sites (Operating Climate Centre, Green Globe Profile and VeriSafe Profile, where the VeriSafe profile includes Inherent Risk Analysis as part of the site’s delivery model, where it is simple to utilize metadata, data and information for components such as

  • Location Analytics
  • Force Maejure Analytics The proof of concept URL called the LifeWise provides more details.

Residential sites (Operating Climate Centre and Green Globe Profile), where a LifeScore helps in understanding the ability of occupants to sense and respond to a risk, disaster or emergency. The proof of concept URL called the GBRC provides more details.

What are the Internet's Influences on us (common people):

The Internet on being available provides us with a continuity to interface with people, specifically skilled or interested elements, businesses, organizations, systems, platforms, in socially accountable ways or less lest said ways.

The “open-nature of the influences on us as common people” is not deterministic.

We envision further to question whether the Internet can mitigate influences on us (as Climate / Operating Climate afflicted people):

The Internet to most of us needs to step next into being open-but-operating-climate-centric where being open-nature is as described above.

What is the Operating Climate (OC)? The term OC refers to the climate due to the Natural systems interface (NSI) present in or near regions and our life interests to involve ourselves in many sense & respond cycles..

What is the Natural systems interface? NSI refers to the topography, rock and soil texture, forest cover, river system proximity, ground water table sufficiency, sunlight, shade, winds and rainfall patterns.   Being operating-climate-centric means

Adding an Operating Climate Centre (OCC) in addition to the Network and Sharing Centre etc we find on our systems

Having Behaviour Trending reported by the OCC

Having SMART Intervention elements to understand and mitigate risks to any Natural Systems Interface and Inter-connected occupancy

What we learned

The furtherance is in making the network “human, operating climate centric and eco-focused” Statement of work (12/08/2021): We will be incorporating Green Globe codification in artwork that we can deploy at sites to help green globe responsiveness. We will develop more of the existing TIMELINE AND PULL INFLEXION SYSTEM to add this responsiveness. We will incorporate solutions to make Art more of a conscious experience.

The proof of concept URL called FutureGenArt will provide more details.

As socially accountable involvement and code of conduct, we find Teamwork depends on our involved interaction and concerned questions.

Social commitment led us into this competition.

We have participated in different hackathons at the "us for the world or us for society level" so do value rules, systems, policies but organizers always ask for queries or issues from teams or winners.

We relate to each of the "sustainable development issue(s)" like it matters for everyone of us.

As a team we know competitions use different resources of people, we are all just if we can answer why we have requested or used resources of team members, or stakeholding or governing authorities like for us the Government of Karnataka, Fire and Emergency Services Department, Civil Defence etc or other investor invitees.

Good luck and good wishes to all interested parties participating in this competition.
