Inspiration

Our team is inspired by a UN sustainable goal which is sustainable cities. We wanted to create something that was for the social good.

What it does

Green Cycle is a community-based app where food is never wasted. Users can utilize this app to maximize a sustainable lifestyle by donating their spoiled groceries to local gardens. In return, they can be rewarded with produce and small plants.

How we built it

We made wireframes and then built the prototype in Figma.

Challenges we ran into

Some challenges were finding the aesthetic for the app, the type of features to include, and the time constraint.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are pretty proud of the app we made with multiple features that also encourages people to live a more sustainable life.

What we learned

We learned how to work quickly and collaborate efficiently as a team. Also, we learned how to use more features in Figma like the components feature.

What's next for Green Cycle

In the future, we hope to develop further with more screens and developing the app.
