Green Beings

Inspiration

We are extremely passionate about our planet want to do our part in the fight against the climate crisis.

What it does

Green Beings empowers individuals to make a local difference in their carbon footprint.

How we built it

We used the React library to build components for our front end, express for our back end API, and TensorFlow for our ML model.

Challenges we ran into

Only one of us had any experience with machine learning at all, so it was quite the steep learning curve for all of us, especially when it came to implementing a solution for such a complex topic.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're very proud of being able to implement our first ML model.

What we learned

We all learned a great bit about machine learning algorithms and their implementation process. We also learned how to use TailwindCSS for styling our front end.

What's next for Green Beings

We hope to fine tune our ML model with further data and build more models to make useful and reliable predictions for those eager to fight climate change.
