Inspiration

Event organization (like, let's say, a hackathon) is a very tedious process, involves lots of scheduling, procurement, and coordination. Been doing that several times, such numerous painpoints were experienced personally, and we believe whole process can be improved with a clever usage of generated content and multiple integrations with existing verticals (venues, catering, delivery, security, photo).

What it does

Website collects input from the user who want to organized an in-person event, and generates a plan for the upcoming event, i.e. brainstorm the theme, venue selection, suggestion for a list of attendees, media contents (RSVP invites, stylized event flyer).

How we built it

Intake form we're getting from TypeForm, and integrated website sends related information to the backend, which is in charge of generating list of attendees, generating media content (event description, personalized emails, photo of the chosen venue). Multiple calls to AI models are brought together in API response back to the website.

Challenges we ran into

Decided not to integrate with data providers and APIs for the sake of saving time, instead sample data was prepared to use with prompts.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The hardest thing is get started, now we're planning to iterate and bring more and more pieces to complete the puzzle of event planning automation.

What we learned

AI models are great, but lot of tweaking and post-processing still needed to make a product on top of them.

What's next for Great Party Tool

Providing integrations with services to pull list of contacts, venue search, and other services used.
