Grease Plotter

Inspiration

Our team was inspired to gain software experience and learn something new.

Takes CSV samples and baseline files and plots them. These graphs can then be downloaded into a zip file to be used later.

We chose to work in PyCharm using Python to plot and parse the CSVs. For the web app, we used Flask.

Biggest challenge was making the graphs update when we uploaded a new baseline into it.

How to better create a web application in such a short amount of time, as well as research coding tools in an appropriately amount of time.

We would like to implement AI in the future that breaks down the graphs that are generated.

I worked on the front end, making sure that the UI was friendly to use and professional looking.

I worked on the backend logic of uploading CSV files and plotting the baselines against the sample batch data. I also helped with logic of the backend working with the front-end.

I worked on both the front end and the back debugging and more hidden features and tying front and back end together.

Tanner Sweigart
I worked on the backend server and starter html, was not easy learning flask in python

Andrew Hellmann
I worked primarily on reading the csv files to generate the graphs of the baseline versus the sample data. I also assisted on some front-end elements.
