Inspiration
We took our inspiration form science centers with all their interactive things.
What it does
It is a simple 3D playground filled with interactable physics objects. You can easily move any object and turn gravity on and off.
How we built it
We built the game using Unity and C#. We also made it third person so its easier to see what's going and more fun.
Challenges we ran into
The hardest part we did was the third person controller. We had never made one before and the tutorial we used didn't allow for it to interact with physics objects, so we had to adapt it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Just finishing it was an accomplishment. We are extremely inexperienced and this is the first thing we have ever finished.
What we learned
A lot about Unity's physics engine and materials.
What's next for Gravity Playground
Not much really, this is just a simple game that isn't supposed to be big. I suppose we could make it teach more about gravity.
