I was inspired to create GRAVITY GLITCH: ULTIMATE after countless hours playing iconic endless runners like Geometry Dash and being captivated by the simple yet addictive one-button gameplay mechanics. I wanted to capture that same "just one more try" feeling - where each death feels fair and motivates you to instantly retry. The synthwave aesthetic came from my love of retro-futuristic visuals and neon-soaked cyberpunk culture, creating a world that feels both nostalgic and modern. I stripped away all the complexity to focus on pure, skill-based gameplay: one input, perfect timing, and escalating challenge. The squash-and-stretch physics and particle effects weren't just visual flair - they were essential to making every jump, flip, and crash feel impactful and satisfying. My goal was to prove that you don't need complicated controls or massive budgets to create something genuinely fun and engaging. This game represents my belief that great game design is about refinement and polish, distilling an experience down to its most essential, addictive core. Every frame, every obstacle, every pixel of neon glow was crafted to create that perfect arcade rush that keeps players coming back for higher scores.
