Inspiration
It is difficult for college students to save money commonly. Many college students do not manage and use their living expenses scientifically after receiving them, resulting in no money to spend at the end of the month or to borrow money to spend. So even if there are more living expenses will be dissatisfied. Some students try their best to save money and finally find that there is not much left. Some students even eat instant noodles every day at the end of the month.....
What it does
To effectively avoid this problem, we hope to launch "Personal Finance Assistant for College students". This platform , "Grapo", can help students plan their living expenses properly and help people allocate their existing assets to achieve their desired goals.
How we built it
Starting from scratch, we brainstromed several ideas and voted out the most feasible one. Learning Figma from the begining, we built up our app's interface.
Challenges we ran into
As a group of four, none with project coding experience and all are first-time hackathon participant, we were so worried that we couldn't form a final result, even a simple one. The mentor session were super helpful for us, everyone was supportive!
Accomplishments that we're proud of
WE FINALLY MADE IT!
What we learned
Everything starts from the first begining of trying. Don't overthink about it, try to finish the task one little part at a time, and you will make it.
What's next for Grapo
Complete the foundamental code, refine the demo and launch trial version among XJTLU and DKU campuses.
