Inspiration
We built GraphiX to make learning linear equations fun and visual for middle schoolers through real-time, interactive graphing.
What it does
GraphiX lets users adjust slope and intercept sliders to instantly see changes in the graph of y = mx + c.
How we built it
We used HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and p5.js to create a dynamic and engaging graphing interface.
Challenges we ran into
We faced challenges in scaling the graph, syncing slider input with visual updates, and applying consistent visual styling.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We’re proud of creating a fully functional and visually appealing tool that makes algebra more accessible.
What's next for GraphiX
We plan to add support for quadratic and exponential equations, as well as downloadable graph snapshots for classroom use.
