Microsoft Graph permits to query users and groups of Azure Active Directory, I want to build a custom organizational chart.
What it does
Create your own organizational chart from your Azure Active Directory tenant
How we built it
Using React-Flow-Renderer and the Ionic Framework, with mgt-react components: PeoplePicker, Login, etc
Challenges we ran into
Lots of setup. My VM on Azure has 4 Gb of RAM I could not use IIS and .net6, so I switched to nodejs
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Using .net6 and nodejs with a Ionic React frontend in Azure with a VM
What we learned
A b2s azure vm running windows 11 is not enough :-p
What's next for graph orgchart
Although it was a proof-of-concept, I'm going to open source it when it's ready to be released
