Inspiration =>Scammers target ordinary people, so we wanted to waste their time and turn their calls into evidence.

What it does =>It listens to a call, alerts you to a scam, and with one tap hands the scammer to an AI version of you that collects their details for your bank.

How we built it =>Next.js, Twilio live transcription, Claude for scam scoring and intel, ElevenLabs voice agents and cloning, Supabase and Vercel, built with Claude Code.

Challenges we ran into =>Swapping the caller onto an AI voice mid-call without dropping them, and capturing only the victim’s voice for cloning.

Accomplishments that we’re proud of =>A real phone call goes from scam detected to AI takeover to a mule-account report in under a minute.

What we learned =>Live voice AI is all about latency, consent and the failure cases.

What’s next for Grand Theft Audio =>Integrating with banks’ fraud systems and sharing mule intelligence between banks.
