The application we have built targets newGrads/college students who are moving around to new places. We have a built an application that streamlines and simplifies this process. Match you with the perfect roommate, and the ideal location to begin the process of finding a place to call home. The feature that makes our application unique is the ability to highlight the region you would like to live in through the Google-Maps API. However, picking this location is not easy when you do not know anything about the city, so we have integrated the Yelp-API to overlay the area with pins associated with restaurants, bars, clubs, coffee shops, etc. Additionally, we are providing you the option of connecting through facebook so that you can see mutual friends and a profile picture of position matches. Once your location preference and personal information are saved, you can begin scrolling through all the search results.
