Grade Calculator

User can type what grade they want in class, current grade, and the weight of their test. The code outputs what grade they need on a upcoming test to have the average grade they want in the class.

Inspiration

My inspiration came from all those times during school when i wanted to know how I could could improve my average score in the class

What it does

This project allows you to see what score you need on a test to reach your goal for average grade in the classroom.

How we built it

I built the program using CSS, HTML, and JavaScript. I first started by making the outline in HTML and then moving into the CSS aspects where i added color and background colors as well as aligning where i wanted my text to go. The HTML had the inputs and the Button.

Challenges we ran into

One of my biggest challenge was getting my button to work. I had to use JavaScript to figure out how to get the button working so that it would print the grade needed for the average grade goal.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am very proud of getting the button to work after a long time working on it. I figured out most of the problems were syntax errors.

What we learned

I learned a lot about JavaScript and CSS.

What's next for Grade Calculator

Adding a section or another page where you could calculate your grade point average for all classes, and not just one.
