Grab It

Give. Grab. Repeat.

Grab It is a local giving marketplace: a mobile app where people list items they no longer need and others claim them for free pickup. Listing, claiming, and pickup messaging stay free forever; optional paid upgrades (Grab It Pro) add extra listing photos, priority reserves, and a supporter badge.

Built with Expo / React Native, Clerk for auth, Supabase for data and edge functions, and RevenueCat for subscriptions.

Why it matters

Usable items end up in landfills every day simply because giving them away takes more effort than throwing them out. Grab It closes that gap: a chair, a bike, a study table that would otherwise be trash becomes something a neighbor actually needs, in minutes, for free. Less waste, more reuse, and a small but real boost to community trust, since listing and claiming cost nothing. The only paid tier is a small convenience upgrade; the core act of giving never sits behind a paywall.
