As a newly qualified full-stack developer and a lifelong car enthusiast, I was thrilled by the opportunity to combine my skills with my passion. I wanted to create a tool that gives Toyota GR Cup drivers instant, actionable guidance — just like having a personal coach available 24/7.

What it does

GR Coach is an AI-powered racing mentor designed for Toyota GR Cup drivers. It provides: Instant, actionable coaching after every track session Hands-free voice input for capturing observations immediately Context-aware advice that builds on previous sessions Progress tracking and goal setting to monitor improvement over time It’s like having a professional coach available 24/7, helping drivers refine technique, optimize lap times, and gain deeper insights into their performance.

How we built it

Developed the chat interface for text and voice input. Integrated natural language processing for racing-specific terminology. Implemented real-time voice transcription for hands-free coaching. Built session tracking and analytics, visualizing progress and goals.

Challenges we ran into
