Inspiration:
Hiring someone who can run community management for Chainlink can be difficult, time consuming, and expensive. Hiring is especially difficult (and expensive) when candidates must know Chainlink-specific topics (i.e. oracles) and articulate it well. Not everyone can be Sergey!
Hiring someone for developer relationships to teach, train, and support projects looking to build with Chainlink is exponentially harder.
Beyond hiring, maintaining a steady workforce can be difficult with benefits, raises, turnover, interpersonal office turmoil, and dynamic staffing requirements based on the economic environment. Often times small business owners cannot afford basic things like healthcare, which makes it especially hard to attract talent.
What it does:
Visca is a GPT4 AI that can become your 24/7 community manager of all your company information at 95-98% cheaper than hiring additional humans. Visca employees are easy to train, simply by uploading files to your company-specific Onedrive folder. No dev work needed. They automatically learn new project information as well without manual input. Visca employees can have a unique face, voice, and personality you can designate. They have unlimited scale for 1-on-1 conversation, and are consistently kind in each interaction. Visca is deployable on Telegram, Discord, Twitter (coming soon), Whatsapp, and websites.
Our community manager can help people ranging from answering simple questions using analogies for non-tech savvy people, to helping developers building on Chainlink by auditing code and explaining technical concepts.
Our team has a Wharton MBA alumni / Y-Combinator startup founder, a Stanford professor, and an American Express engineer on the AI team.
How we built it - Magic Of Chainlink:
We built an automation platform that allows us to train custom build custom GPTs automatically with no human input needed. Because of this, we can price GPTs at the lowest possible price (server+licensing costs) because there's no engineer bandwidth used.
There's literally no technical knowledge needed to create a custom GPT community manager. All you need to do is upload (pdf, word, csv, ppt) files to a Onedrive folder and it creates one for you automatically!
For this hackathon we used Chainlink specifically to enable data from multiple external sources. This creates several advantages: (1) solve the #1 problem with generative agents in low accuracy answers, by getting real-time data from a variety of sources to help vet truly accurate answers, (2) prevent vender API lock-in. If one vendor closes down (or simply has downtime) we can grab data feeds from another vendor to create a more reliable system. This would've prevented a Terra ecosystem protocol (Kava) from going bankrupt during the Terra crash because it was using a static API which didn't update UST pricing when it fell below $1, leading to massive arbitrage.
Because everything is automated, we're able to price this for $100/month.
Accomplishments that we're proud of:
During the course of this hackathon, we were abel to secure a paid pilot program with $1.5 billion blockchain protocol and are in talks with several other major corporations for implementation. We were recently a finalist at both the AI San Francisco Hackathon and the Stanford LLM hackathon.
What's next:
We're looking to implement a series of productivity tools that will enable our virtual employee to perform many mission critical tasks (i.e. taking unstructured data and auto sorting it into spreadsheets).
For the record, we want to do this for real beyond the hackathon and work with Chainlink. So please contact us and let's schedule an actual phone call thanks :)
