GPooL

Inspiration

GPooL was built by veterans of the crypto currency space and is based on a community-inspired vision to provide secure pooling services across numerous digital assets. The target audiences for GPooL are individuals and institutions who do not wish to, or cannot, run nodes on their own yet still wish to capture a yield on their assets across multiple coins.

What it does

GPooL serves as a proxy Guardian Node for any Theta holder, regardless of technical skill level or access to high-end internet connected computers. By doing so, they appoint us Delegate for each Blockchain Check Point validation. They also are able to apply their stacking weight to Theta Improvement Proposal votes. All while remaining in complete control of their own Private Keys in their own Hardware Wallet. The GPooL interface tracks all rewards to delegated addresses and records daily personalized earning reports.

How I built it

With help from my team of 18 developers, artists, lawyers and advisors.

Challenges I ran into

No Theta network seed nodes until mid way into the Hackathon, once we had them it was easier to run on native RPC for our submission.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

GPooL stakes 4.15% (20.7mil THETA) of the total Theta network stake.

What I learned

We will need more tech support.

What's next for GPooL

We would like to make our RPC public available with API calls and a UI interface like MEW for Ethereum .
