In our pursuit of a better governance system, we stumbled upon an amazing idea. The successful execution of government programs had the potential to uplift countless lives, but we noticed there is no platform for implementing agencies to share updates and receive public feedback, enabling the government to assess public satisfaction and verify the accuracy of progress reports.

What it does

  1. Government Initiatives: Government authorities can post their new initiatives and programs on the platform.

  2. Real-time Updates: Implementing agencies can provide timely progress updates along with accompanying images within the corresponding threads under government posts.

  3. Public Engagement: The general public can participate by posting responses and feedback under both government and implementing agencies' posts.

  4. Transparency and Accountability: This platform enables the government to gauge public satisfaction with programs and verify the accuracy of progress reports shared by implementing agencies.

  5. Improved Governance: By fostering transparency, accountability, and public engagement, the app contributes to more effective and people-centric governance.

How we built it

  1. Get the Scheme's Data from Govt as Main Post: Govt will be the main authority to post every scheme as a post that will released by it to get tracked and get real-time updates.

  2. Progress from the Implementing in the thread of the Main post: The concerned Implementing Body will post the progress in the thread of the scheme.

  3. Authentication of the Progress by Implementing body by Visual Response from Public: the visual feedback from the user will be the base for the authentication of the implementing body post.

  4. Alert to the Implementing Body By Govt: If the implementing body makes a false claim regarding progress it will get an alert from the user.

  5. User Feedback for Effective Implementation: It will not will get an update on progress but also effective ways to implement it.

Challenges we ran into

Developing a government engagement app may encounter challenges such as gaining government support, implementing body support, and building user trust are also significant hurdles. Addressing technical issues, ensuring legal compliance, and managing data effectively.

  3. Cross-Platform Development: Building our app using the Flutter framework has provided numerous benefits. We've gained proficiency in Dart, moreover, the ability to deploy our app on both Android and iOS with a single codebase has saved time and resources.

  4. Data Management and Analytics: Handling user data responsibly and effectively has been a key focus. We've developed data management systems that not only protect user privacy but also provide valuable insights through analytics.
