Inspiration

The $GOT token was inspired by the insane demand for additional EENs to be started, and the goal to democratize access to staking rewards on the Theta Network, enabling participation even with smaller holdings of $TFUEL. As well as to further incentivize GuardiansOfTheta.com Theta stakers.

What it does

It allows users with under 10k $TFUEL (or any amount) to participate in LP (liquidity pool) staking, sometimes offering a higher APR reward than $TFUEL staking alone. $GOT tokens are earned for free by staking Theta through GuardiansOfTheta.com. Users can collect 0.0000001 $GOT per day for every 1,000 Theta staked at ThetaVibes.io/collect-got. These tokens can be paired with $TFUEL, or any other asset listed on the DEX, in liquidity pools, offering an APR of 59%-74% ($GOT/$TFUEL current as of 7/18/24). How we built it

The $GOT TNT20 token was built on the Theta Network blockchain, leveraging its smart contract capabilities to facilitate staking rewards and liquidity pool incentives. The $GOT contract reads who is staking Theta to GuardiansOfTheta's Guardian Node, allowing stakers to withdraw a fraction of a $GOT per day, or let it accumulate over time to withdraw more. You must first claim $GOT one time from the same address as your staked Theta, before the claim counter will activate and start to accumulate $GOT. We then obtained 1M $TVOLT from Voltswap.finance, and locked it for 4 years, giving us maximum voting power on the $GOT pools, and also used it to whitelist our TNT-20 token on the DEX for trading, pairing, and LP staking!

Challenges we ran into

The process was straight forward and simple, however its been challenging to get new users probably due to their past DEFI experiences.

We're proud to have created a solution, that enhances accessibility to Theta Network's decentralized finance solutions, allowing broader participation in staking rewards and DeFi activities.

Through developing $GOT, we gained valuable insights into token economics, liquidity provision strategies, and community engagement within blockchain ecosystems.
