Inspiration
It has always been a struggle to find the right serving size whenever we cooked. For our first hackathon, we wanted to make something that we would find useful in our own lives.
What it does
The user inputs the ingredients and the measurements for the original serving size. Then, they can input the serving size that they want and the program will calculate the correct measurements for the wanted serving size.
How we built it
We built the program using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Challenges we ran into
Since we are both beginners to coding, we had to look up how to do each aspect of the program. We also could not get access to the website domain that we originally planned to host the website on.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we were able to create a program that runs successfully that runs the way we want it to run and looks the way we want it to look.
What we learned
We learned how to use Sublime Text, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
What's next for Gordon RAMsay
We hope to improve our program and add more functionality.
