Inspiration
Our proposed solution intends to solve a major social problem. We believe that a smart city is not defined primarily by the number of antennas, or other technologies but by smart people. We have a broad integrated vision that is exemplified on a sub-set of our solution. We have studied the effective needs on the market, the needs and expectations of people and also some case studies of other proposals.
What it does
We intend to offer a program / solution that tackles social responsibility. This solution covers your educational, personal and social development by using various challenges. For exemplification purposes a sub-set of the features is designed to serve as a prototype (This tackles the aspect of recycling).
How we built it
Brainstorming and case studies on the internet were used as tools for a preliminary market analysis. After this analysis and design followed. A technical solution concept was drafted where various technical options were weighed against each other.
The effective implementation consisted of building a prototype that featured a selected number of use-cases for handling the envisioned recycling flow.
Challenges we ran into
Tooling challenges (with Firebase framework, database challenges), tight deadline.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We finished the project, we learned new skills in tech and pitching and we experienced our first hackathon, while also getting to know new people.
