Inspiration

The inspiration for Gopher stemmed from our own experiences as students facing the overwhelming challenge of managing multiple assignments, deadlines, and tasks across various courses. We realized the need for a centralized platform that could simplify the organizational chaos of student life. Gopher was born out of a desire to create an intuitive, all-in-one student organizer that could streamline the academic journey for students everywhere.

Gopher is a comprehensive student organizer designed to bring order to the chaos of academic life. It consolidates all assignment submissions, deadlines, and tasks from different learning management systems (LMS) into one centralized platform. With Gopher, students can seamlessly connect their courses from popular platforms.

How we built it Gopher was built with a user-centric approach, focusing on simplicity, functionality, and user experience. We utilized modern web development technologies such as React.js for the frontend to ensure a responsive and intuitive interface. For the backend, we implemented a robust database system using AWS dynamo to store and manage user data securely.
