Insperation :While Google Maps itself serves as a source of inspiration for many developers and entrepreneurs who build on its capabilities and data, it has also been a source of inspiration for various applications and innovations across different domains.

What it does:Location-Based Services: Google Maps has inspired the creation of numerous location-based services and applications. These include ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft, food delivery apps like Grubhub, and many other applications that rely on mapping and location data.

Navigation Apps: The success of Google Maps has inspired the development of various navigation apps, both for driving and walking. Examples include Waze and Apple Maps.

How we built it:-Satellite Imagery: Google acquires high-resolution satellite imagery from various sources, including commercial satellite providers. This imagery forms the basis for the visual representation of Earth in Google Maps.

Aerial Photography: In addition to satellite imagery, Google also collects aerial photographs using planes to capture more detailed and up-to-date images of specific areas. Street-Level Imagery: Google sends vehicles equipped with cameras to capture street-level imagery. These vehicles, known as "Google Street View cars," photograph streets, roads, and urban areas to create panoramic images

Challenges we ran into:-Ensuring the accuracy of map data and other information, such as business listings and reviews, can be a significant challenge. Google must continuously verify and update data from various sources to provide users with reliable information

Accomplishments that we're proud of:Google Maps is a web service that provides detailed information about geographical regions and sites worldwide. In addition to conventional road maps, Google Maps offers aerial and satellite views of many locations.

What we learned:-Google Maps provides useful directions and real-time traffic information to millions of users. This information is updated constantly to mirror the changes in an ever-changing world. It is impossible to manually analyze more than 80 billion images to find new, or updated, information for Google Maps

What's next for GOOGLE MAPS:-More brand integration and marketing
