Appointment Booking Agent

Setup & Local Run

1. Clone the repository then run the command:

   cd appointment-booking-agent
   

2. Place your service_account.json (Google Service Account) at the project root.

Backend

cd backend/app
python3 -m venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate  # Windows: .\.venv\Scripts\activate
pip install -r requirements.txt
export OPENAI_API_KEY=sk-...
export GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS="../service_account.json"
uvicorn main:app --reload --host 0.0.0.0 --port 8000

Frontend

cd frontend
python3 -m venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate
pip install -r requirements.txt
mkdir -p ~/.streamlit
cat <<EOF > ~/.streamlit/secrets.toml
BACKEND_URL = "http://localhost:8000"
EOF
streamlit run streamlit_app.py

Now visit http://localhost:8501 to chat & book appointments!
