JobTech Topic: Helping non-tech savvy people Build with Flutter

Inspiration

We wanted to build an application that can help those who struggle using technology now in applying for a job. Our goal is to ensure that the storage and application process to connect to an employer is much easier than it has ever been!

What it does

Stores your licenses, certificates and any important documents that may help with your job portfolio. Our program allows us to generate a resume template to apply for my different job opportunities much quicker.

How we built it

How we have build this program is by using coding in flutter.

Challenges we ran into

We have struggle with building up the program to covert all your documentation into a simple template. Not only that, the home page as well as the buttons included in the program was difficult to code a specific function during the development process.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud to build up a foundation for our app such as the navigation buttons in our application. Not only that we have structured each of our pages to get a general idea of the overall look.

What we learned

There are many different things we have learned in this competition. For one, we have manage to learn how to make a business pitch/presentation that contains the layout of our idea. Alongside that, we have managed to pick up the coding language in order to build up the foundation for our application in order to get the general idea of how the application is going to progress.

What we have planned for our team is to focus more on the coding side of our project so that we are able to develop the complex algorithms we hope to achieve in future development. For example, an algorithm that allows stored certificate's name to be included in the template resume.
