Goodzer NYC

We started Goodzer in 2010 for two reasons: we needed to buy some things locally but had no clue where to find them . . . and the Internet offered no solution. There was no app for that. Sad but true. Up until now, there was no comprehensive and reliable search engine for a wide variety of consumer goods. By wide variety, we mean not just electronics and stuff you can get at the mall. But all items -- big, small, or obscure -- from hair brushes to hammer drills to collectibles. And not just from ‘big box’ retailers, but from boutiques and mom ’n’ pop shops. Why wasn’t there a search engine for local goods? Turns out, that’s a very hard problem to solve. But that’s what we’ve done. Goodzer is an easy-to-use search service allowing anyone to instantly obtain the most accurate information possible about a particular product at New York City retailers, to quickly compare prices, and to locate the right store. Note that this first release of the Goodzer covers stores in the Five Boroughs of New York City.  Type whatever you’re looking for -- “iPad,” “Ugg boots,” “Stratocaster,” “Wine glasses,” “Powershot G12” -- whatever. We have 15,000 stores in New York, so go crazy.
