WHAT INSPIRED ME: The first and foremost aim of my project is to help deprived people because eradicating poverty is the first goal set by the UN. So what inspired me to create this project was the two parallel realities that I saw. In one side people are throwing unused articles on streets,on the other side there are people struggling to access basic essentials. Thus I realised that poverty isn't due to scarcity but due to the disconnection between the ones who have and the ones who need. Hence i decided to create an ai powered app that safely connects receivers and donors ,turning surplus into support.
WHAT DOES GOODWILLGO DO: There are many donation platforms in and around but I wanted GOODWILLGO to stand out in a way that both organisations as well as the donors can easily access it with complete trust. GOODWILLGO ALLOWS : 1. Donations of various unused and used items including clothes, books, furniture ,food,etc. 2. allocations of donations based on quantity, quality, condition and description. 3. selection of predefined and custom amount of money for donation. 4.Filteration of donations by location and time prefernce. 5.connection only with verified individuals and organisations. 6. easy and safe contribution to many fundraising campaigns. 7. easy messaging and contacting platform between users. 8. no illegel dealings and secure transactions.
HOW IS GOODWILLGO BUILT: Frontend: JavaScript-based modern web framework UI Framework: Responsive component-based design Backend: Managed cloud backend via Base44 Database: Cloud-hosted structured collections Hosting: Serverless cloud deployment with HTTPS Architecture: Modular donation and organization flow The app is initially designed as web app and later into a mobile app.
CHALLENGES FACED: CLEAR FLOW: Balancing donors,receivers,and fundraisers in one single platform. OVER COMPLEXITY: Creating simple and understandable platform. TRUST AND SAFETY LAYER: Avoiding misuse,fraud listings, and fake requests. VERIFICATION: Providing multi-step verfication and verified badges. PAYMENT FLOW: secure api handling and transparent system

WHAT'S NEXT FOR GOODWILLGO: Mobile App Version:Publish as Android & iOS app. Track:Total items donated,People helped and Funds distributed. Testing: before official launch ensure multiple practical testings. Expanding : offically launching it in a city and widely promoting. Partnership:Connecting with NGOs and volunteers. Campus Integration: integrating students to create effective network 2026 goal : Build a complete social welfare platform not a blind app.
