Engie Challenge - 3

We decided to take on the Engie challenge for this hackathon. We split the work of front-end and back-end development among the team. We have completed a front UI for the data to be displayed and have mock graphs to show the intention of the final design. Using data from pi web API, we have developed a system to calculate Engie's energy consumption and CO2 over a user-specified time period, as well as a system for visualizing this data, allowing Engie to better understand the relationship between CO2 production and energy consumption. We learned how to use HTTP requests to get data from an API. Along with time, another challenge we faced was properly handling requirements from each source (i.e. properly accounting for the ratio of coal to energy pellets depending on the date.)
